Financial aid:

Students may apply financial aid to foreign studies programs. Please contact OIE to clarify details or visit their webpage regarding summer semester.

Scholarships are also available.


Full Summer Program fee: $5,350

Short Summer Program fee: $4,500


Deposit $500 due at time of application for Full and Short Summer Program.

Registration deadline is Dec. 15th



Payment #1 of $2,425 (Full Summer Program) or  $2,000  (Short Summer Program) due Feb 15th.

Payment #2 of $2,425 (Full Summer Program) or  $2,000  (Short Summer Program) due March 31st.


The program director will collect the cost of lodging, transportation and program administration. Matriculation will be paid to the Bursar’s Office.


Cancellation Policy:

Students who choose not to participate in the program after submitting an application will be subject to the following fee schedule:

  • Students cancelling after January 15th must pay 25% of the program fee.
  • Students cancelling after February 15th must pay 50% of the program fee.
  • Students cancelling after March 15th must pay 100% of the program fee.

Georgia Tech reserves the right to alter (including a change to program fees) or cancel this program due to low enrollment, unavailability of a professor to teach a planned course, or other unforeseen circumstances. If Georgia Tech cancels the entire program before departure for reasons within its control, all fees paid by participants that can be recouped will be refunded. If Georgia Tech cancels the program before departure or while the program is in progress for reasons beyond its control, such as political unrest or danger to participants’ safety, only those fees that Georgia Tech is able to have refunded by service providers will be returned to participants.
